This is the New Ocean Wok. Not really impressed. I've ordered from their old place for years and years. They did the best chicken and sweetcorn soup from any restaurant or takeaway. Their BBQ spare ribs with gravy was outstanding. Tonight, the chicken and sweetcorn soup was watery and missed the delightful sweetness and toasted sesame oil flavour and thickness of the soup base. Edible but a total let down. The ribs with gravy are now short cut, presented in a plastic box rather than the tin foil containers. The gravy was sweeter than the last incarnation, and fine, but not the same standard as the old version. Worried to order anything else from there now.

Was unhappy with order tonight. Ordered sweet and sour chicken with fried rice, no mushroom. We were given a tub of sweet and sour sauce, fried rice and chicken balls. Called the shop and the woman, who was quite abrupt, assured me this is how it’s served. Never in my life have I seen it this way. If you google sweet and sour chicken you will see images of chunks of chicken on a bed of rice usually served with onions and peppers. Said this to the woman but she was adamant we were wrong. Ordered the chow mein and asked for no prawns but did in fact get prawns. Really unhappy, not sure I will order again.

Not the same quality as usual spring rolls soft and very greasy chicken satay's weren't as flavorful as usual something was missing the nicest thing was the chips and rice chicken balls had a strange taste to them
